Charles is a fiercely private person who gives us a peek at his world through his art. He was born in war-torn London, shortly after World War II. As a young man, his creative abilities were discovered by the Royal Drawing Society, and he received several awards with honors. He continued his studies in London until 1967, when he emigrated to the United States.

    His meticulous need for detail and creative energies led him into a career in the United States as an engineer, but he never lost interest in art. Although Charles had risen to the top of his career, known in his industry as a world class materials design engineer, and an innovative scientist, in 2003 Charles decided it was time to retire from the business world and turn that same creative focus, which gave him success in the past, to his true passion, his love of creating art.

     Charles sees reality in a way that others don’t, and is able to share his unique vision with the world through a variety of mediums that include oil paintings, pen & inks, and pencil sketches that have an extraordinary vision in a contemporary style showing a distinctive and unique interpretation of the mediums that are as individual as he is. A true renaissance man.

     Today, Charles lives and works in north-western New Jersey.
